Wafer, Semiconductor, and Electronics Manufacturing

Semiconductor Wafer

Evergreen Engineering has the experience and capability to serve our technology manufacturing customers through every aspect of a project whether it is a greenfield, upgrade, expansion project or conversion project.

Realizing that many of our technology customers face difficult Code issues, Evergreen integrates code compliance throughout the design to ensure a smooth permitting process and subsequent startup.

With our knowledge of technology manufacturing environments as it relates to a facility and utility systems, Evergreen will match the customer's needs
and objectives to meet the requirements of the project.

Evergreen specializes in engineering and design for "H" occupancy environments. We understand the limitations, constraints and challenges that manufacturing in "H" occupancies can present.

Evergreen Engineering also specializes in manufacturing support areas such as labs for test and assembly, office space, utility and energy centers, and maintenance areas. These areas are typically F, B, and S occupancies.

Evergreen Engineering has a successful history of working directly for a facility owner or in a Design/Build arrangement. Evergreen Engineering regularly sets up site-offices to meet the needs of projects with accelerated schedules or in remote locations.

Evergreen has designed over 1000 tool installs, over 100 bulk chemical systems, and over 50 bulk and specialty gas distribution systems... and hundreds of projects throughout Fabs and facilities.

Bulk chemical Handling

Evergreen is a leader in bulk/specialty gas and chemical system applications. When the letter of the code cannot be met, Evergreen has applied Alternate Means & Methods (AM&M) to the design to obtain approval and certification. An example of our resourcefulness is a retrofit project for which we obtained permit approval to bring hydrogen into a B occupancy area by creatively employing alternative means and methods of design to meet code requirements and intent.

Evergreen is particularly adept with retrofits. Replacing tools in a production Fab presents special challenges. Evergreen has carefully planned tie-ins and installation for such retrofits to minimize impacts on services and bay airflow. As more companies turn to retrofits of older Fabs as an alternative to building new greenfield Fabs, Evergreen's unique experience and flexibility will become even more significant.

Evergreen has completed numerous projects, including major facilities, utilities, and equipment upgrades, at several wafer manufacturing companies over the past several years.

In addition to wafer and semiconductor manufacturing, Evergreen has provided engineering services to other high technology companies for years. These companies, technologies, and applications have been quite diverse, ranging from silicon manufacture to crystal growers to circuit board manufacture to electronics assembly. We are continuing to expand our range of services and clients in the high tech area.
