RECAUSTICIZING SYSTEM

Recausticizing System

CLIENT:              Pope & Talbot, Inc.
LOCATION:        Halsey, Oregon

This project consisted of a complete new recausticizing system to replace an existing system.  New equipment included a new white liquor pressure disc filter, slaker, causticizers (4), lime storage tanks, green liquor stabilization tank, and a new MCC building. The process converts approximately 600 gpm of green liquor into white liquor.

The owner acted as general contractor and the project was completed in a 16-month time frame.

Provided fast track engineering, including all mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and control design (PLC).

Wrote technical specifications for all purchased equipment, fabrication, and installation services.

 Provided construction and start-up assistance.
